In a recent interview with the Christian Broadcasting Network, Christine O'Donnell (candidate Senate in Delaware) listed both God and Gloria Steinem as sources of inspiration and influence when times get tough on the campaign trail.
Ah, Gloria Steinem is an atheist!
"It's an incredible con job when you think about it, to believe something now in exchange for something after death. Even corporations with their reward systems don't try to make it posthumous."
Gloria Steinem
By way, O'Donnell is the same person who says that the 1st amendment does not guarantee separation of church and state, regardless of what Thomas Jefferson and the Supreme Court have said about it.
At least the voters of Delaware have some sense. She lost the election.
Despite receiving endorsements from the Tea Party Express, which called her a “strong voice for conservative constitutionalist principles”. She was also endorsed by the pro-life Susan B. Anthony List and the Family Research Council. In the final days before the primary, she received endorsements from the National Rifle Association, U.S. Senator Jim DeMint, Sarah Palin, and conservative commentators Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, and Mark Levin.
